Lt Col Daniel Davis: Russia, Trump & RussiaGate

Politicized intelligence is damaging trust across the board. We need accountability—without falling into partisan reinterpretations.

In this segment, I take a hard look at how U.S. intelligence has been politicized by both parties—and how that erosion of trust is undermining public confidence in government. Figures like Tulsi Gabbard say they’re fighting for transparency and accountability, but the real challenge is separating genuine misconduct from subjective disagreements over intelligence assessments, which are notoriously difficult to prosecute.

We dig into a newly declassified annex from Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation, which claims the FBI ignored credible intel suggesting Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign tried to falsely link Trump to Russia. Durham now calls it political weaponization—but his original 2023 report said Clinton did nothing prosecutable. That inconsistency raises serious questions about credibility.

We also examine the shifting narratives of former intel chiefs John Brennan and James Clapper, whose contradictory statements over the years have fueled accusations of political bias. Tulsi Gabbard has released whistleblower claims alleging the Obama administration manipulated intelligence in the 2017 Russia assessment—possibly under pressure. She says more documents are coming, and they could implicate top officials, even former President Obama. But so far, no conclusive evidence has emerged to support those claims.

Bottom line: politicized intelligence is damaging trust across the board. We need accountability—without falling into partisan reinterpretations. Let’s dive in.

Every minute of this show is worth watching.
