I confront the dangerous advice shaping U.S. strategy on the Iran war and Russia-Ukraine conflict.
In 2013 I wrote that U.S. Army generals “have lost the ability to effectively function at the highest level” and “have amassed a record of failure” marked by suppressed results, false claims of success, and zero accountability.
That same flawed thinking now pushes to “go big in the Strait of Hormuz” and escalate against Iran — while claiming Russia is losing.
“Supporting Ukraine will only increase the cost of that loss. It won’t change the outcome that’s baked in.”
I reject the mindset that America must win simply “because it says USA on our shirt.”
Past failures were costly but contained. “This war here in Iran and the one over in between Russia and Ukraine has the potential to explode all over the world.”
